A message from our Chair, Mike Galsworthy:
This year we’re celebrating 75 years of the European Movement UK. To mark this milestone, I’ve been chatting with some incredible people - from the early members of the movement to today's grassroots champions and the next-gen stars.
The result is this video, a snapshot of the story of our movement, and the many different voices who contribute to our pro-European community.
The European Movement emerged as a beacon of unity in the shadow of the War, advocating for cooperation and peace. Today, amid the challenges of Brexit, this movement remains more crucial than ever as we navigate our way back to the heart of Europe.
This movement is a collective undertaking. Together, we are more than the sum of our parts – and it’s our many members, advocates, local groups and grassroots activists that give us our strength.
So we would love to hear from you – what stories and memories do you have from your involvement in pro-European campaigning? And, most importantly, what are your hopes and ambitions for the future of this campaign?
Thanks for being part of this incredible journey. Your support has been the engine driving our movement forward. As we work to undo the damage of Brexit and forge a way back to Europe, our mission has never been more important.
